Prosecution Inspector Matilda Osaah Buabeng presented the case, highlighting that the incident happened on Wednesday, February 26, 2024, around 4:30 p.m.
According to the prosecutor, the victim, farmer Osman Karim, went to the accused's house to buy a cigarette.A argument about a debt of Gh¢2.40p led to a furious fight. The accused reportedly attacked the complainant by beating his head with a piece of firewood and biting his testicle, causing a deep cut and serious blood.
The complainant reported the incident, and the offender was later apprehended. During interrogation, the accused admitted to inflicting harm to the plaintiff.
However, in court, the accused pleaded guilty with an explanation, claiming that she did not bite the scrotum but rather squeezed the testicle in self-defense after the complainant caused her to collapse.
