The National Identification Authority has released a press statement informing the general public about the issuance of printed backlog of Ghana Card begins today. The press statement indicates that the registration will begin at all their district offices in the greater Accra region.
They urged that all first time issuance, replace or update of personal records from June 2023 and has not received their cards yet will get on Monday 7th April. This exercise will take place at their various districts offices in Accra.
They added that Ghanaians who 15 and above and has not registered for the Ghana Card should also visit their offices in the district level.
NIA emphasized that, this exercise is free for first time issuance and also encouraged that the public should report any staff who will damand for money before rendering these services to the authorities. However the replacement and update of records remains payable.
