The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has invited Kwame Baffoe, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), also known as Abronye DC, to appear on February 26, 2025.
The development is related to several claims he made about President John Mahama.
Mr. Baffoe has been summoned to come before the NIB to present proof to back up his assertions, according to a letter shared by joynews.
According to the statement, Abronye DC accused President Mahama of hiding GH₵550 million allocated for terminated appointees at Jubilee House. Abronye DC made these charges during an interview with Accra-based Movement Television, where he also accused the administration of corruption in the recruiting and revocation processes.
