John Dumelo, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has made fresh students at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon in Accra happy. Over the weekend, the MP organised a free make-up and photography for level 100 University students during their matriculation ceremony. Student make-up artists used the chance to showcase their talents.
The deputy Agriculture Minister-designate took to X (previously Twitter) to express his excitement for the event.The actor also spoke with the new students, discussing his vision and ideas for helping his constituency.
Dumelo, who is serving his first term as an MP, defeated Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the NPP candidate, in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
Prior to the election, Dumelo was seen enthusiastically campaigning, notably on the University of Ghana campus, because to the large number of voters.
After losing the 2016 and 2020 elections, Dumelo was prepared to use all of his resources to score a massive triumph in the 2024 elections.
