Rongai, Kenya. A terrible domestic quarrel turned fatal last Saturday evening when Geoffrey Ouma, an Okada rider, was stabbed to death by his wife following an argument over money.
According to sources, Ouma returned home from work in Rongai to heavy rain. His wife, who was infamous for demanding his daily wages, challenged him about money as usual.
He handed up what he had earned for the day, but when she asked for more, he explained that the inclement weather had hampered his job, resulting in a smaller income.
Unmoved by his answer, his wife enumerated several past-due household obligations and insisted on receiving additional funds.
Ouma insisted that he had brought everything he had, but this statement just inflamed her anger. In a flash of anger, she stormed into the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
Recognizing the impending danger, Ouma sought to run, but sadly slipped and fell. Seizing the opportunity, his wife stabbed him in the chest, killing him instantly inside their house.
