A well-known prophetess in Onitsha, Anambra State, has been detained for allegedly beating young children to death. During the raid on her home on Monday evening, three youngsters were discovered naked with their wrists and legs tied.
The prophetess and her accomplice have been identified as Chidi Felicia Nwafor (80 years old) and Rejoice Raymond (39 years old).
Kossy Derrick said that they were arrested by officers from 3-3 Police Station Nkwelle, Onitsha. The entire area was covered with blood stains, as were fetish items such as a mortar and pestle, blood-stained canes, mixture, and more.
The woman lives at 13 Akunwanta Mbamalu Street, Federal Housing Estate 3-3, Nkwelle.
A bucket in which the youngsters were forced to poop was discovered in the room, since they were not permitted to leave because they were locked up.
