In the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, in the Attakrom neighborhood of Bibiani, a three-year-old daughter was discovered dead in an abandoned dam.
Vincentia Kyeremah, the deceased, was a kindergarten student who vanished on Saturday.
Her uncle, Daniel Donkor, stated that all efforts to locate her were ineffective until her lifeless body was located on Monday afternoon.
Prior to the terrible finding, the family had reported her disappearance to the Bibiani police.
The police, along with community leaders, initiated a search, which resulted in the finding of her body in the dam.
Daniel Donkor suspects foul play in the child's death and has asked police to perform a forensic inquiry. Meanwhile, the police have retrieved the remains for preservation and autopsy as investigations continue.
