Actress Martha Ankpmah's GHC5 million defamation lawsuit against actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, has finally been resolved, with Lilwin being ordered to pay GHC 300,000.
Following a closed-door session between the two, an agreement was struck yesterday.
The dispute arose from a widely circulated video in which Lilwin allegedly made disparaging remarks about Ankomah's line of work.
She insisted on pursuing legal action in place of Lilwin's initial public apologies in December 2024, citing the painful and reputation-damaging nature of the words.
A formal apology and retraction with comparable prominence, compensation for reputational harm, additional damages for the nature of the defamatory words, and GH?5 million in damages were all demands made by Martha in her lawsuit against her colleague.

The actress apparently declined to appear in a film that Lil Win was producing, thus it was ordered after the court hearing that he should pay her GHC 300k for defaming her.
There was a video that showed Martha Ankomah and her attorneys exiting the courtroom with smiles on their faces.
